
Programming his first personal computer video game in 1979, Ron brings more than 14 years of Internet services operations management and more than 28 years of software development and consumer services experience to Don’t Talk Play.
Ron was previously General Manager of CDC Games USA where he led the launch of China headquartered CDC Games, a subsidiary of publicly traded CDC Corporation, first North American massive multi-player game Lunia and CDC Games North American game portal 12FootTall.com.
Ron joined CDC Games after leading the implementation of publicly traded financial company CompuCredit Corporation’s award winning Internet-based loan management system where he served as Director of Systems Engineering and Quality Assurance.
Prior to CompuCredit, Ron worked more than five years with EarthLink, one of the nation’s largest Internet service providers with over 5 million customers. At EarthLink, Ron led several major enterprise-wide initiatives, including the overhaul of the company’s billing and customer care systems after its merger with MindSpring, Inc. in 2000.
Before joining EarthLink in 2001, Ron spent more than six years supporting the launch of Internet-based start-ups including an online B2B trading platform and a regional Internet service provider.
Earlier, Ron served more than five years in the U.S. Air Force as a computer programmer, where he created and maintained software for U.S. Department of Defense combat planning systems. Ron has earned degrees in Computer Programming and Liberal Arts.
Ron’s online game and Internet services management expertise has been featured in several major print and online publications.
